As you embark upon this wonderful new week consider these words by Ernest Holmes, founder of Religious Science/Science of Mind.

“The Universe is teeming with activity. There is motion everywhere. Nothing ever stands still. If we want to be in line with things we must move. This does not mean we must strain or struggle, but we must be willing to do our part by letting the Law work through us.”

Whenever I see the word “Law” I immediately get to translating it into my own language.  I have learned that there is a law of cause and effect.  As I think and believe in my heart of hearts, “it is done unto me.” Therefore I know that my words, thoughts and beliefs are a law unto my life, constantly creating good, bad or otherwise.

I have also learned as Jesus taught that the “Law” is love. So instead of choosing strain and struggle, can we let LOVE work through us? Can we see what wonderful causes can be set in motion when we operate from love?

The “Law” is also a fancy way to describe how God/Holy Spirit/Divine Mind/the Universe works. To me, God is a Presence and Power for Good in the Universe that is always active everywhere. Let us not forget that we have the ability to allow the Divine Presence to work through us - our thoughts, our words, our emotions, our bodies and all of our experiences.

A thought that I have been contemplating (my personal mantra) is “Success is the ONLY Option.” After all, the Presence and Power for Good in the Universe is always acting everywhere for me and for everyone in the world, right? If I believe that, if WE believe that, we can set in motion a cause for wonderful and amazing successes.
